Terms & conditions

The general rules for using our website and services

About our services

Master House Fixers provides home renovation, improvement, repair, design, and related residential services based on the needs of each individual project. Information presented on this website is intended to help visitors understand the types of services we may provide and begin a conversation with our team. Website descriptions, photographs, examples, and project information are general in nature and should not be treated as a promise that a particular service, material, finish, design, or result will be available for every property. The specific services we agree to perform will be determined through the applicable project discussions and written documentation.

Project inquiries

Sending an inquiry through this website, calling us, or requesting an estimate does not by itself create a contract between you and Master House Fixers. We may review your request, ask for additional information, arrange a consultation, or determine that the requested work is not suitable for our services or current availability. Before work begins, important project details such as the agreed scope, responsibilities, pricing, payment arrangements, scheduling expectations, and applicable warranty terms should be confirmed through the appropriate written agreement or authorization. If information discussed during an initial conversation changes after a site visit or more detailed assessment, the final project documentation may reflect those changes.

Project assessments

Where appropriate, we may need to inspect or discuss the condition of the property before determining the appropriate approach. Existing walls, floors, ceilings, plumbing, electrical systems, framing, finishes, and other components may contain conditions that are not visible during an initial review. Estimates and recommendations are therefore based on the information reasonably available at the time they are prepared. If concealed or previously unknown conditions are discovered after work starts, additional work, materials, professional services, or time may be necessary. Such circumstances may require a change to the original project scope and will be discussed with you as reasonably possible.

Scope and changes

The agreed project scope establishes the work that Master House Fixers is expected to perform. Items that are not included in the written scope should not be assumed to be included simply because they appear related to the project. You may request additions, substitutions, removals, design revisions, or other modifications during the project. Changes may affect both the total cost and the anticipated completion date. We may require written approval before performing work outside the original scope. This process is intended to keep project expectations clear and provide both parties with a reliable record of approved changes.

Materials and products

Projects may involve materials, fixtures, appliances, finishes, hardware, or other products selected by you or recommended as part of the project. Product availability, manufacturing schedules, shipping conditions, and supplier inventory can change without notice. When an approved item becomes unavailable, discontinued, delayed, or materially changed, we may communicate available alternatives for consideration. Unless specifically stated otherwise in a written agreement, product characteristics, manufacturer specifications, colors, textures, and natural variations are subject to the applicable manufacturer's information. Special-order products may have separate cancellation, return, or restocking conditions.

Client responsibilities

You are responsible for providing information that is reasonably necessary for us to perform the agreed work. This may include access instructions, building or property restrictions, known defects, relevant plans, association requirements, and timely decisions regarding materials or project selections. You should also remove valuable, fragile, or personally important belongings from active work areas when requested. Pets, children, guests, and other occupants should remain clear of areas where construction activity creates a reasonable safety concern. Delays resulting from unavailable access, incomplete information, late approvals, or missed client decisions may affect the project schedule.

Scheduling and access

We make reasonable efforts to coordinate project activities according to the schedule discussed with you. Construction schedules can nevertheless change because of weather, inspections, material availability, subcontractor coordination, unexpected property conditions, transportation issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Outdoor work may be postponed when conditions make it impractical or unsafe. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes and coordinate revised dates. You agree to provide reasonable access to the property during agreed working periods and to notify us promptly if access arrangements change.

Payments and project administration

Project pricing and payment requirements are established according to the applicable written agreement. You agree to make payments in accordance with the agreed schedule and to raise billing questions promptly. Approved changes, additional materials, or unforeseen work may result in additional charges when authorized under the project terms. Project records may include estimates, approvals, invoices, change documentation, selections, communications, and other information reasonably required to administer the work. Keeping these records helps both sides understand the history and current status of the project.

Workmanship and warranties

Any workmanship warranty provided by Master House Fixers will be governed by the terms stated in the applicable project agreement or warranty documentation. Materials and products may carry separate manufacturer warranties, which are subject to the manufacturer's own conditions and limitations. Warranty coverage generally concerns eligible workmanship or product defects and does not automatically cover ordinary wear, misuse, accidental damage, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or conditions unrelated to the covered work. If you believe there is an issue with completed work, please notify us promptly so the matter can be reviewed and an appropriate response can be determined.

Safety and property protection

We take reasonable precautions to maintain orderly work areas and reduce avoidable risks while services are being performed. Construction can involve dust, noise, tools, equipment, temporary access restrictions, and other conditions that are normal to renovation work. You agree to respect reasonable safety boundaries established around active work areas. We may pause work when conditions present a significant safety concern or when continuing would require information, access, approvals, or conditions that have not been provided. Existing property conditions outside the agreed scope may require additional attention before certain work can safely continue.

Third-party services

Certain projects may require products or services supplied by independent manufacturers, tradespeople, designers, inspectors, delivery companies, permitting authorities, or other third parties. Their availability and performance may be outside our direct control. Where a third party forms part of the agreed project process, we may coordinate with them as appropriate, but their separate terms, warranties, schedules, and requirements may also apply. We are not responsible for independent services or products beyond responsibilities expressly accepted in the applicable project agreement.

Website content and acceptable use

Website text, photographs, graphics, layouts, branding, illustrations, and other original materials are provided for general business and service information. You may view and use the website for legitimate personal purposes, but you should not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, or commercially reuse our original materials without appropriate permission. You also agree not to interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, submit deceptive information, or use our communication channels for unlawful, abusive, or misleading purposes. We may modify, suspend, or remove website features or content when reasonably necessary.

Limitations and unforeseen events

Although we work to provide clear communication and dependable service, renovation projects involve circumstances that cannot always be predicted in advance. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for delays or impacts caused by events outside our reasonable control, inaccurate information supplied by a client, concealed property conditions, third-party failures, unavailable materials, government actions, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude a responsibility or legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Updates to these terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions when our website, services, operational practices, or legal requirements change. Updated terms may be posted on this website and may include a revised date. Changes to general website terms do not automatically alter the terms of an existing signed project agreement. Any project-specific modification should be documented through the appropriate project process. By continuing to use this website after updated terms are posted, you acknowledge the revised terms as they apply to future website use.
